Internation parcel delivery protocol

Compensation standard for international transit parcel.


No liability for compensation is payable under the following circumstances:


1.         Cause by force majeure (Excluding insured postal mail);


2.         Goods are Restricted items or Prohibited items, and confiscated by government departments;


3.         Mail are intact and no weight reduced or missing items during delivery.


4.         Parcel are already signed by recipient in prescribed procedures;


5.         Loss or delay due to customer responsibility or the item itself;


6.         Customer has not inquired and has not claimed for compensation within period of appeal, since the date of delivery of the mail;


7.         Mail are detained, confiscated or destroyed by government departments under local laws at destination.





Prohibited items:


1.         Items are not allowed to circulated or delivered by laws and regulations;


2.         Hazardous materials such as explosive, flammable, corrosive, radioactive, toxic and etc;


3.         Reactionary newspapers, books or obscene articles;


4.         All kinds of currency;


5.         Items that hazard public health;


6.         Perishable item;


7.         Live animal (except bees, silkworms, and leeches but must in well packaged and can ensure staff and delivery safety)


8.         Items are not in proper packaging, may endanger to human safety or endanger to delivery equipment or cause pollution.


9.         Other items are not suitable for delivery.



Prohibited items by general postal stipulation:


1.the item or its package are or may cause damage to other mail, or postal equipment, or harms the courier safety;


2.Package are sealed with metal buttons or other sharp edges, which may hamper mail processing;


3.All kind of firearms, ammunition, explosives substances, flammable substances, corrosive substances, radioactive materials, toxic substances, anaesthetic substances, biochemical materials, infectious substances and gases;


4.All kind of reactionary newspapers, books or obscene articles that endanger social security and stability;


5. Items that hazard public health;


6.Items which are prohibited at destination by local authority;


7.In addition to above general provisions, the relevant provisions of the customs department should also be followed.










Prohibited items by TAIWAN postal department:


     1.the item or its package are or may cause damage to other mail, or postal equipment, or harms the courier safety;


     2.Package are sealed with metal buttons or other sharp edges, which may hamper mail processing;


     3.Flammable, explosive or other dangerous items. But not include the items which has transportation permission from specific government department, and those items must in special packaging;


     4.Live animal. Not included bee, silkworm, leech or other insect sent by registered &research institution;


     5. Radioactive materials;


     6.Opium, morphine and other narcotic substances. But not included the item which has transportation permission from specific government department, like court, hospital, police station and etc;


     7.Obscene articles or antisocial items. But not included the item are use as evidence in court, or items has permission from specific government department;


     8. Items which are prohibited at destination by local authority;


     9.Items which are prohibited by specific government department at TAIWAN. But not included the items are use as evidence in court or has permission from specific government department;


    10. Lottery or any relevance poster of lottery. But not included the items are use as evidence in court or has permission from specific government department;


    11. Other items are prohibited by laws and regulations.
